Thanks to everyone who participated in and who sponsored our second annual Paddle Poker Run. It is because of your generosity that we were able to raise $2177.66 for the Alzheimer Society of Cornwall and District, beating our goal of $2000 and beating last year’s total of $1300. The first pick at the prize table went to Lucinda Forbes for raising $1015 and the second pick at the table went to Irene Dubeau for the best Poker Hand. Thanks also to all the local businesses and individuals who donated a prize for the prize table and or volunteered their time, helping to make the event such a success.
